So, last night I got to see In The Heights with my best friends and family. I must say it was as good as the cast in New York, which made me happy! At intermission, my friends and I went to the lobby for drinks, and all of a sudden I see Camille Belle and then Demi Lovato. Maggie and I got giddy and went to her to ask for a picture. Yet, Demi seemed a little annoyed when I asked, but they both still got a picture with us. The second act started, and all of sudden there were people in the orchestra seats yelling during the song. The scene was stopped, lights turned on, and the announcer said there was an emergency medical problem and the show will return soon. Pretty out-of-the-blue at a live show, but they were able to continue the show! Afterward, my friends stayed at the stage door, and got to meet the cast, including Lin-Manuel Miranda (the creator and star of the show). I was very happy and he happens to be such a sweet guy! So, try to get tickets before it leaves Sunday!! July 25 2010
